Old Age Pension Jharkhand – Apply Online, Eligibility, Documents & Status Check

Jharkhand Old Age Pension is provided under the Jharkhand Social Security Pension Scheme (SSPY) and also aligned with the National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP) for elderly citizens who need financial support. The pension amount is transferred directly into the beneficiary’s bank account through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) using Aadhaar-based NPCI payment mapping.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicant must be a permanent resident of Jharkhand
  • Minimum age: 60 years or above
  • Must belong to Below Poverty Line (BPL) category
  • Applicant should not be receiving pension from any other government source
  • Aadhaar must be linked with bank and active in NPCI mapper for DBT transfer

  2. Click on Apply for Pension / New Registration
  3. Enter personal details (Name, Address, Age, Category, Aadhaar)
  4. Upload scanned copies of required documents
  5. Enter bank account information correctly
  6. Submit the form and save the application reference number
  7. Verification will be completed at Block/Pragya Kendra/Local office level
  8. After approval, pension starts via DBT
